The International Live Events Association (ILEA) is a global community of thousands of creative event professionals whose skills, expertise, and experience power some of the most influential live events around the world. ILEA is a community centered around celebrating all aspects of live event production and management. This enables our members to deliver the very best work to their clients through collaboration, thought-leadership, and idea-sharing. ILEA members include event planners/producers,
caterers, meeting planners, decorators, audio-visual technicians, convention coordinators, entertainers, educators, journalists, photographers, hotel sales managers, and more. 

The Nashville chapter of ILEA began in 2012.

ILEA now offers rolling memberships! What does that mean? Your membership is now good for a full year from the time you register! Previously, most memberships expired on June 30 no matter when in the year it was purchased (excluding 18-month memberships).

Are you enrolled in a college or university and interested in joining a special events organization with members ready to welcome you with open arms? ILEA offers student memberships for only $50 + a $50 application fee. Use the code HUGILEA and list a current ILEA Nashville member's name and ILEA HQ will waive that application fee for you! Reach out to ileanashville@gmail.com before joining and we can help walk you through the process!

What do you need to become a student member? You'll be required to provide proof of enrollment at a college or university, and enrollment must be current at the time of joining or renewal. Student memberships are available for first-time members only and the membership type is limited to four years. Your membership is good for a full year from the time you register.

We're so passionate about students that in 2021 we created a special position on our Board of Directors specifically for this.
